Celebrity boxing: Never been involved in physical fight – Nkechi Blessing after defeat to Phyna

Nollywood actress, Nkechi Blessing has stated that she has never been involved in a physical until the celebrity bout with ex BBNaija housemate, Phyna.

She stated this in a video shared on her Instagram page on Friday while reacting to her defeat in the boxing match.

DAILY POST reports that Phyna, a former winner of the Big Brother Naija reality show, defeated Nkechi in a Nigerian first female celebrity boxing match in Thursday night.

Speaking after she was defeated, Nkechi, who claimed she was not a fighter, revealed that she had never been engaged in a physical fight since birth.

While apologising to those who bet on her for the disappointment, she described the match as a new experience for her.

“Hi guys, yesterday was a whole new experience for me. Like I said in my previous post, till I grow reach like this, I never engage in any physical fight before. I’m not a fighter but craze dey ground on a norm.

“I see all the support, I see all the comments, even the people laughing at me. Thank you all so much. To every single soul who put their money on me, I’m sorry you lost your money and then, I hope you find a place in your heart to forgive me.”
