Champions League: Gary Lineker names team to stop Arsenal from winning trophy

England legend, Gary Lineker, has said Barcelona is the team that could stop Arsenal from winning the Champions League this season.

Lineker has said the Gunners are one of the favourites in the competition, but believes Rodri signing for Barca is a game changer.

Arsenal began their Champions League campaign with a 1-0 win over Napoli on Wednesday.

Last season, Mikel Arteta’s men were beaten on penalties by Paris Saint-Germain.

“Arsenal will be one of the favourites but I don’t think overall they’ve got quite the superstars that some of the other big guns in Europe have,” Lineker said on The Rest is Football podcast.

“I do think Barcelona might be quite tasty and take some beating this season now they’ve got Rodri in there as well in that crucial position.”
