Championship: Azeez ruled out of Millwall vs Norwich clash

Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Millwall manager Alex Neil has confirmed Femi Azeez won’t play a part in Saturday’s home clash against Norwich City, DAILY POST reports.

Azeez started Millwall’s 2-0 victory at Bristol City last weekend but was forced off before the break due to injury.

Neil said after the game that the Nigeria international was feeling discomfort in his hamstring.

The gaffer has now revealed that the winger is not fully fit for the visit of Norwich City.

“He’s got a slight strain, which is not significant, but it’s going to be a little bit too soon for Fem,” Neil was quoted as saying by the BBC.

Azeez was named in the Sky Bet Championship Team of the Season last term.
