Championship: Femi Azeez named in PFA Team of the Year

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Femi Azeez has been included in the Professional Footballers’ Association, PFA, Championship Team of the Year, DAILY POST reports.

Azeez earned the recognition following his impressive 2025/26 campaign with Millwall.

The 24-year-old registered 11 goals and eight assists in 37 Championship appearances for the Lions.

Alex Neil’s side, however, failed to secure promotion to the Premier League after losing to Hull City in the semi-final of the Championship playoffs.

Azeez’s Millwall teammate, Tristan Crama, also made the final XI.

His impressive performances for the Lions also earned him recognition at the international level.

The former Reading star bagged a brace on his international debut for Nigeria against the Reggae Boyz of Jamaica in May.
