By Ayo Onikoyi

Nigerian lifestyle influencer, content creator and dance enthusiast Ntumobe Chisom, popularly known as Cheesohm, has announced the next edition of “Dance with Cheesohm”, following the success of her recent Afro Beats dance class held in Lekki, Lagos.

The previous session, hosted at Alpha Fitness Studio, Admiralty Way, Lekki, brought together dance enthusiasts and first-time dancers for an engaging Afrobeats experience focused on movement, confidence-building, fitness and cultural expression. The beginner-friendly class created an inclusive environment where participants learned energetic choreography while connecting with others who share a passion for dance and African culture.

The event received positive feedback from attendees, many of whom described the session as exciting, empowering and accessible regardless of prior dance experience. Participants praised the welcoming atmosphere, practical instruction and sense of community fostered throughout the class.

Speaking on the impact of the initiative, Ntumobe Chisom (Cheesohm) expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and enthusiasm shown by participants.

“The response to our last class was truly inspiring. Seeing people step into the room, embrace the experience and leave feeling more confident and energized reminded me why Dance with Cheesohm is important. It is more than a dance class—it is a community where people can connect, express themselves freely and celebrate the beauty of Afro Beats culture. I am excited to welcome even more people to the next edition.”

Building on the momentum of the previous session, the upcoming edition of Dance with Cheesohm will introduce fresh choreography, interactive learning experiences and opportunities for participants to further develop their dance skills in a supportive environment. The class remains open to beginners and dance lovers of all experience levels.

As Afrobeats continues to gain global recognition, Dance with Cheesohm aims to contribute to the growth of dance culture in Nigeria by creating accessible experiences that encourage creativity, wellness, confidence and cultural appreciation.

Registration details for the next class will be announced via Cheesohm’s official social media platforms. Interested participants are encouraged to register early, as available slots are expected to fill quickly.
