Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle has named a 24-man squad for his side’s upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau.
Chelle included regulars including captain Wilfred Ndidi, forward Victor Osimhen, midfielder Alex Iwobi, and winger Moses Simon in the squad.
First choice goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali, Ola Aina, and Benjamin Fredrick also returned to the fold.
Portugal-based defender, Isaac James teams up with the three-time African champions for the first time, same for forwards George Ilhenikina and Moses Usor.
The Super Eagles will host the Barea of Madagascar in a matchday one fixture at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday, 25 September.
Chelle’s side will travel to Bissau for a matchday two encounter against Guinea-Bissau four days later.
