Police in Bansang, Central River Region, are investigating the death of a 14-year-old boy following a reported stabbing incident on Wednesday.
Speaking to The standard on the incident, Police Spokesperson Modou Musa Sisawo, said preliminary information indicated that the victim was stabbed during an incident involving a 12-year-old boy and that “a pair of scissors, suspected to have been used in the incident, has reportedly been recovered by the police”.
He added that the 12-year-old boy suspect was at large, and that police were looking for him.
“That’s all I can relay to you for now. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident are continuing and any further information we have will be communicated as and when appropriate,” he told this paper.
