The Ghana Cocoa Board (COCOBOD) has begun a nationwide stakeholder engagement campaign to educate key players in the cocoa sector on the newly passed Ghana Cocoa Board Bill, 2026. The exercise started at Cocoa House in Accra, where representatives of cocoa farmer-based organisations, civil society groups and the Licensed Cocoa Buyers Association of Ghana (LICOBAG) met with COCOBOD management to discuss the provisions of the new law.
