Council of State needs revamp — Cletus Avoka

Mr Cletus Avoka, a former Majority Leader of Parliament, has called for an independent and adequately resourced Council of State, arguing that its current structure constrains its effectiveness. He said separating the Council from the machinery of government was essential to strengthening its role in Ghana rsquo;s democratic governance framework.
