Denmark: Etim wins Superliga September Player of the Month award

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Nigerian striker Friday Etim has been named the Danish Superliga Player of the Month for September following an impressive run of form for FC Midtjylland.

Etim scored three goals and provided one assist for Midtjylland during the month under review.

He also found the net in the club’s Danish Cup victory over Sundby BK.

The 24-year-old forward beat FC Copenhagen duo Diant Ramaj and Asger Sørensen to claim the individual accolade.

It is Etim’s first Superliga Player of the Month award since his arrival in Denmark.

Reacting to the recognition, Etim expressed his delight, crediting his goalscoring form for helping the team.

“I’m happy with the award. It’s been a good September for me. Of course, you’re happy to score three goals as a striker because that’s the way I can help the team, among other things,” Etim told Midtjylland’s official website.
