There are moments that stop you in your tracks, not because they are loud or dramatic, but because they are deeply human. This was one of those moments.
Denrele recently shared the last voice note sent to him by Alex, and according to him, listening to it left him sitting in silence, lost in thought.
While Alex may have been known personally by everyone, what keeps coming up in conversations about him is consistent — kindness. People who knew him, even briefly, describe someone who showed warmth, care, and genuine humanity.
And that’s what makes this even heavier.
Because behind that kindness was also someone carrying his own unseen struggles. Yet, despite whatever he was going through internally, he still found space to be gentle with others. That kind of strength is rare. Not everyone manages to extend kindness when they are not okay themselves.
In a world where pain often gets passed around in harsh words, distance, or indifference, Alex did something different. He chose kindness anyway.
That simple truth has now become the lasting memory he leaves behind for many.
Rest well, Alex

I didn’t know Alex personally, but one thing I keep hearing from different people is how kind he was. And honestly, that says a lot.
