Goalkeeper Ronald Koeman Jr scored twice, including a dramatic 101st-minute penalty, to rescue a point for Telstar in a thrilling 2-2 draw with Cambuur in the Eredivisie.
According to BBC Sport on Sunday, the 31-year-old, son of former Netherlands defender and manager Ronald Koeman, converted two penalties as Telstar fought back despite being reduced to 10 men in the 22nd minute.
Cambuur took control after the dismissal, scoring twice in the second half to put the visitors 2-0 ahead with less than half an hour remaining.
Koeman pulled one back from the penalty spot in the 63rd minute before completing his remarkable double with an equaliser in the 11th minute of injury time.
The late strike made Koeman the first goalkeeper to score twice in a single Eredivisie match.
It was not his first decisive penalty for Telstar. He previously converted the winning spot-kick against FC Volendam in May to secure the club’s safety from relegation.
Koeman’s father resigned as Netherlands manager in June following their last-32 World Cup exit against Morocco.
