Effutu, Gomoa Central Assemblies to pay medical bills of 17 injured in New Winneba deadly clash

The Effutu Municipal and Gomoa Central District Assemblies have agreed to settle the medical expenses of 17 people who sustained injuries during the violent clash over the ownership of New Winneba. The decision was announced on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, after officials from the two assemblies visited the affected communities and the hospitals where the injured victims are receiving treatment.
