EOCO clarifies Nana Baffour Awuah's parliamentary immunity amid attempted arrest

The Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) has explained that being a Member of Parliament does not automatically end an investigation or exempt a person from the application of the law. The clarification follows an attempted arrest of the Manhyia South MP, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, in connection with an ongoing investigation.
