Manchester United manager, Michael Carrick, has left captain Bruno Fernandes out of his starting XI to face Bournemouth.
According to The Athletic, Fernandes will start the game from the bench.
This comes a week after the Portugal midfielder criticised Carrick's tactics following a 4-1 thrashing at Como in the Champions League.
Fernandes questioned the tactical decision not to allow the team press the Serie A side.
It was United’s seventh game without a win, and the result prompted Carrick to apologise to supporters.
Carrick has decided to drop the 32-year-old to the bench as he tries to turn around his team’s form in a pivotal moment.
