EPL: He argued with Ronaldo, everyone – Fred on ex-Manchester United manager

Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Former Manchester United midfielder Fred has opened up on his experience working with the club’s former manager Erik ten Hag.

In the ‘Charla podcast’, the Brazilian claimed that Ten Hag argued with Cristiano Ronaldo, Casemiro and everyone during his time at Old Trafford.

Fred said (via GOAL), “Ten Hag was tactically very good, but with the group he was a piece of c*ap.

“He argued with everyone. He argued with me, with Cristiano [Ronaldo], with Casemiro, with Rashford. He would not put me in to play; sometimes it got stressful. [with Ten Hag] Only his Dutch players played.”

Ten Hag was sacked as Man United manager on October 28, 2024, after the club’s defeat to West Ham.
