EPL: He’s quick, scores goals – Lee Sharpe names striker Man Utd should sign

Former Manchester United winger, Lee Sharpe has urged his old club to sign Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa.

According to Sharpe, the England international is quick, scores goals and can also hold the ball up well.

Watkins is keen to leave Aston Villa before the summer transfer window closes next week.

The 30-year-old was not included in Aston Villa’s squad for their 4-0 defeat to Brighton in the Premier League last weekend.

“I think he [Watkins] would be an ideal buy for Manchester United,” Sharpe told Metro.

“He holds the ball up well, he’s quick, he scores goals, and I think he would have thrived and been a great signing, and Sesko would learn so much from him,” he said.
