EPL: He’s so effective – Alan Shearer names difference maker in Chelsea team

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Newcastle United legend, Alan Shearer has identified midfielder, Moisés Caicedo as a key difference-maker in the Chelsea squad.

According to Shearer, the Ecuadorian international is highly effective and makes things look simple for the Blues.

The former England international was speaking after Chelsea’s 5-1 win over Bournemouth in the Premier League at the weekend.

“The front three were brilliant again, as well as Jordan Henderson,” Shearer said on the Match of the Day programme.

“But Caicedo makes such a difference to this Chelsea team because of his experience and his ability in that midfield, both defensively and when he wins that ball. He makes things look pretty simple, but he is so effective in what he does.”
