Arsenal midfielder Bruno Guimarães has named David Raya as the best goalkeeper in the world after his outstanding performance in the win over Sunderland on Saturday.
Raya was impressive against Sunderland and made several saves, including saving a penalty as Arsenal secured a 2-0 win.
Goals from Guimarães and Bukayo Saka gave the Gunners all three points against the hosts at the Stadium of Light.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the game, Guimarães was asked if Raya is the best goalkeeper in the world.
The Brazilian replied, “Yes, definitely.
He made some very good saves that kept us in the game.
“Unbelievable moment to save that penalty, and I think after that we had confidence to play forward and we scored a goal. But yeah, everything because of this guy, he is unbelievable.”
