EPL: I’ll laugh about it – Mourinho reacts to Man City’s guilty verdict

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, has said he would “rather have a bit of a laugh” about Manchester City being found guilty of breaching the Premier League’s financial rules.

Mourinho was denied a title by City, finishing second behind their city rivals in the 2017/2018 season.

Speaking to Cor Sport, he claimed that the issue might not be resolved anytime soon.

“I’d rather have a bit of a laugh about it,” Mourinho said.

“Being in my 60s, I’ll have to be lucky enough still to be here when the final verdict arrives.

“Now a ruling will come, then an appeal… I’ll be 80!”

City insist they are innocent and have already submitted an appeal.
