Manchester United defender, Lisandro Martinez, is reportedly seeking to bring his time at the Red Devils to an end following his recent criticism of the club’s technical director, Jason Wilcox.
On Tuesday, Man United failed to win for the fifth time in a row after a 2-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.
Martinez later expressed his frustrations during a post-match exchange.
However, according to The Athletic, Martinez’s future at Old Trafford has been cast into doubt following his recent remarks.
Although he is in the final year of his contract and the Premier League club holds an option to extend it by a further year, he has no desire for his deal to be prolonged.
The Argentina international is keen to secure a transfer to a La Liga club in the future.
