Former Manchester United striker, Michael Owen, has named Arsenal as the favourites to retain their Premier League title this season.
Owen also predicted the teams that would finish in the top six of the Premier League table.
The 2026/27 Premier League will start this month, and Arsenal will hope to defend the title, having won it last season.
“I think there can be a few title challengers this season,” Owen told Metro.
“With Chelsea not in Europe, they can mount a challenge. New managers at Liverpool and City could hit a good run of form early on and be in with a shout as well. Tottenham have signed well, too.
“So Arsenal are favourites for sure, but it’s not a foregone conclusion that they win it comfortably,” he said.
When asked for the teams to finish in the top six, the former Real Madrid star added, “at this stage, I would go Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd and then Spurs.”
