EPL: Shambolic amateurs, embarrassing – Piers Morgan slams Arsenal after heavy defeat to Brighton

British broadcaster, Piers Morgan, has slammed Arsenal following their 3-0 defeat to Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday.

Morgan described Arsenal’s performance against Brighton as “shambolic” and “embarrassing.”

Three goals from Pascal Groß, Charalampos Kostoulas and Chema Andrés gave the hosts victory over Mikel Arteta’s side at the American Express Stadium.

Reacting, Morgan, in a post on X, wrote:

“Best defence in Europe is being made to look like shambolic amateurs by a hungry, aggressive Brighton team. Embarrassing.

“I don’t understand what I just endured. Brilliant start to the season, then this utterly abysmal performance against a far better, sharper, faster, stronger, more determined Brighton. Congrats @BHAFC – you gave us a deserved thumping. I need a drink.”
