EPL table: Arsenal go joint top with Man City after narrow win over Leeds

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Arsenal are now joint top of the Premier League table, after they came from behind to beat Leeds United 2-1 on Saturday.

The champions were looking to bounce back from their 3-0 thrashing at Brighton before the international break.

But they struggled to break Daniel Farke’s men in the first half.

After the break, it was Leeds who took the lead at the Emirates, with James Justin finishing off a fine team move.

The Gunners then fought back to take three points with goals from Riccardo Calafiori and Bruno Guimaraes.

Arsenal are now on 15 points, the same number with Manchester City, who travel to Liverpool on Sunday.
