EPL: They look shoulders above others – Alan Pardew makes title prediction

Former Newcastle United manager, Alan Pardew has backed Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season.

Pardew insisted that the Gunners look head and shoulders above others in the Premier League.

He spoke after Mikel Arteta’s side defeated Manchester City to win the Community Shield on Sunday.

“It’s always difficult to win the Premier League, especially back-to-back, and Arsenal are going to try and do that.

“It’s going to be a tough season, but at the moment you have to say wow, they look head and shoulders [above the rest] at the moment,” Pardew said on talkSPORT.

Arsenal won the Premier League ahead of Man City last season and will hope to win it again this term.
