Manchester United legend, Wayne Rooney, hailed three Red Devils players following their Premier League 2-2 draw against Everton at the weekend.
Rooney said that Kobbie Mainoo, Youri Tielemans and Bruno Fernandes were really good against Everton, adding that they will be frustrated that Michael Carrick’s side didn’t win against the Toffees.
The former England international said (as per BBC Match of the Day), “I thought it was a good away performance. There was a lot more control. The midfield three [Mainoo, Tielemans and Fernandes] were really good.
“They will be frustrated that they have not won the game, given the performance.”
Manchester United will now face Sabah in the Champions League on Thursday.
