Former France striker Thierry Henry has picked the two teams he expects to challenge Arsenal for the Premier League title this season.
Mikel Arteta’s men are the current champions after ending a 22-year wait for the trophy last season.
The Gunners are widely regarded as the favourites to win it again in the 2026/2027 campaign.
But Henry has said Manchester City and Chelsea could make it difficult for Arsenal.
He also warned his former club about the mistakes Liverpool made while trying to defend their league title.
Henry said: “Everyone was like, ‘Liverpool know how to win. I don’t see how they’re not going to win the title again.’
“Two weeks after, it went south for so many reasons. When they didn’t buy anyone, they won the league with Arne Slot. They went on to buy people, they imploded.
“That’s why when people ask me, ‘Who is a challenger, who is a contender? Do you think if that player goes there, they can challenge?’ I say, ‘Hey, we have to wait. Let Maresca work, let Xabi work.’”
