Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has claimed his team had to take risks in order to beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 in the Premier League on Sunday.
The champions struggled to break down the hosts for most of the game.
With the match looking to end goalless, substitute Noni Madueke cut inside and fired in the winner via a deflection.
"We had to earn it until the last second," Arteta told reporters.
"They are a well coached team and hard to break down. We had to take risks, they are a dangerous team.
"We had to manage the emotional part really well. We stayed focused and the finishers made a huge impact."
The result ensures that Arsenal remain three points behind Manchester City, who are yet to drop a single point this season.
