Former Manchester United star, Danny Simpson has revealed that his former teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo could become a manager in the future after retiring from professional football.
Speaking to GOAL, Simpson said it would be interesting to see Ronaldo become a manager, adding that he possesses the necessary qualities.
“It would be interesting, Ronaldo as manager, but I think the way he speaks, the way he is, his standards, what he expects, especially when he came back to United,” Simpson said.
“I think he’s got it in him to be a top manager and know the game and study the game. It would be interesting to see him.”
Ronaldo has already hinted that he could retire from professional football at the end of the season.
His contract with Al-Nassr is set to expire next summer and talks over a new deal have not yet begun.
