FA Cup final: Shearer predicts Man City vs Chelsea clash

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Former Newcastle United striker, Alan Shearer, has shared his prediction for Saturday’s FA Cup final between Chelsea and Manchester City.

City already beat Arsenal to lift the Carabao Cup and are looking to complete the domestic double.

Pep Guardiola’s men however has lost the last two FA Cup finals they played in against Manchester United and Crystal Palace.

For Chelsea, winning this game will be a sort of successful end to what has been a turbulent season.

The Blues are in danger of missing out on Champions League qualification, despite winning the Europa Conference League and Club World Cup last year.

Shearer told BetFair: “I just think because of the mood that City are in, the belief and the confidence, they’ll edge it.

“I think there’ll be a lot of goals in this, but I think Man City will edge it just.”
