Falconets depart for Poland ahead 2026 U-20 Women’s World Cup

Nigeria’s Falconets will depart for Poland on Monday (today) ahead of the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, DAILY POST reports

The team has spent several weeks in camp in Abuja, undergoing intensive training and preparations as they get ready to represent the country at the global tournament.

Moses Aduku’s side will take on Poland and Korea Republic in friendly matches as part of their final preparations for the competition.

The two friendly encounters will provide Aduku with an opportunity to fine-tune his team’s strategies ahead of the World Cup.

Nigeria have been drawn in Group F alongside Spain, China and New Caledonia.

The Falconets will begin their campaign against Spain at the Arena Sosnowiec on Monday, 7 September.
