….Medical community mourns Hadiya, Aisha Usman

The Chief Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre, Nguru, Yobe State, Dr Hadiza Usman Abdullahi, has lost her twin daughters, Dr Hadiya Usman and Dr Aisha Usman, two days apart.

Hadiya, a medical doctor, died on Friday, while her twin sister, Aisha, a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), died on Sunday.

The mother of the deceased confirmed the deaths in separate messages shared on her WhatsApp status, announcing the passing of her daughters.

The deaths have plunged the family, colleagues and members of the medical community into mourning.

The sisters, who were twins, reportedly died two days apart, leaving relatives and associates to mourn the loss of the young professionals.

Condolence messages and prayers have continued to reach the bereaved family following the tragic development.
