Heavy fog had meant planes unable to land in Faroes
Polish team will have to play within hours of landing
Poland’s champions Lech Poznan will have to play their Europa League second leg against the Faroese champions KÍ Klaksvík on Thursday night within hours of landing in the Faroe Islands after their travel was disrupted for two days in a row by heavy fog.
Lech won 1-0 in the first leg in Poznan thanks to a late goal from Ivorian striker Yannick Agnero, but on Thursday they were locked in a chaotic race against time to reach the islands for kick-off.
