For their part PSG are thought to be closing on deals for Barcelona’s World Cup winner Ferran Torres and the Ajax winger Mika Godts, though the 21-year-old Belgium international had talked at the weekend of “putting an end” to rumours that he was refusing to play for Ajax in order to force a move.
England’s World Cup cult hero Djed Spence could soon be exhibiting his marauding runs and eye-catching slide tackles in Serie A. Inter are interested in a £25.6m move for the Tottenham full-back, who fancies a move to San Siro and might find himself struggling for regular first-team football in north London after Roberto De Zerbi’s busy summer in the market.
