A surprise name linked to them is Alexis Mac Allister of Liverpool, who may receive a bid in the coming days as City aim to ready themselves for the Premier League season.

Ibrahim Mbaye has been linked with every club around, so it should come as no shock that Manchester United have held talks over signing the Paris Saint-Germain winger, who was left out of the matchday squad for the French Super Cup on Sunday.
