Beloved, gradually we are moving to the end of the month of a new beginning but it does not mean that the manifestation of new things would cease.

As Christians, we are aware that the mercy of God never ceases.

Lamentations 3 vs.23 ( KJV) “They (mercies) are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness”,

Whatever the situation with a person, for one that knows the Lord, such a person should daily give  thanks to God.  If  not for anything, for the breath of life.

Some say that when a child is born, the reason the child cries is because of uncertainty that awaits that child in the world.

The child coming from  a perfect kingdom into a word filled with troubles  usually cries because he or she is worried.

Believe it or not, when a child does not cry, the birth attendant and the mother would be concerned.

What this simply means is that there is no human being that is not worried about something.  It varies from one person to another.

Isaiah 30 vs. 19: “For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more:  he will be gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee”.

God does not want his children to be in a state of tears of pain or sorrow.  The Lord detests weeping, he said, “ thou shalt weep no more”.

With this,  at the back of our minds, we must know that weeping does not glorify God, it solves no problem.  If anything, it could endanger one’s health. So what is expected of a Christian is to cry unto the LORD that in God in his grace will hear and answer.

Note,   the emphasis in the Bible passage quoted.   You will first cry to God.  Crying is not necessarily about shedding tears but about going to God in prayer.  Tears may drop while praying but that is not  weeping  due to delay or non-manifestation of one’s heart’s desires.

The Holy Bible records in the story of Hannah that she was in bitterness of soul.

1st Samuel 1st Samuel 1 vs. 10: “ And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore”.

Her tears dropped as she poured out her heart to the God in prayer.   In other words, she prayed earnestly.

When we pray with total focus on the LORD, the Bible tells us , “he will hear and then answer”.

May the LORD hear our prayers as we cry unto Him  in Jesus name.

Hannah after she prayed and made a vow, continued to wait on the LORD and the Bible records that “ God remembered her”.

I may not know what you so desire, as long as it is in line with the word of God, before this month ends, the LORD  will   remember you in Jesus name.

It is written in  Isaiah 64 vs. 4: “ For since the beginning  of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear , neither  hath the eye seen, O God,  beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him”.

This Bible passage simply tells us that amazing miracles await those that wait on the Lord.

You want to experience a new beginning, then you must be ready to wait patiently in the presence  of the God.

Brethren,  while waiting on the Lord, we must  shun provocation and anger as they are tools of the enemy to keep our miracle farther away from us.

You don’t believe, let’s see the story of  Hannah and Peninnah  in  1st Samuel 1 vs. 6: “ And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb”.

Brethren, if Hannah had given in to Peninnah’s provocation, the house would have become a war zone.   Her tears  of sorrow would have multiplied  because, the children of Peninnah would be on the side of their mother and Hannah would be alone.

It would only be a matter of time before Hannah’s husband that loves her switch to the other side.

Whatever you are going through right now, the word of God for you is , you are not alone, God is with you in Jesus name.

Rather than waste her time fighting and quarrelling, she took her tears to the Lord.

Beloved, when last did you have a conversation with the LORD?

I mean when last did you create a quite time to thank God for life and remind  him that since He created you, you  would move from grass to Grace.?

It sounds simple but believe me, God responds to such swiftly because, you may not get to that level until you are in Christ and Christ is in you.

Provocation and anger are weapons of the enemy to shut the door of God’s mercy against anyone waiting on the Lord.

May God give us the Grace to shun these two evils in Jesus name.

Apostle Paul  told us in 1st Corinthians 16 vs. 9 : ( NIV) “ Because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me”.

King James Version puts it this way, “ For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries”.

If Penninah knew that God would bless Hannah with  a Samuel that would be  a man of God and a judge over Israel, she probably would not have provoked her .

Peninnah’s provocative attitude   led Hannah to make  a desperate cry unto the LORD and she got a reward beyond her imagination.

That would be someone’s story very soon in Jesus name.

The  just concluded 74th Annual Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, produced amazing testimonies.

I’ll share one  to lift up the faith of readers trusting God for one issue or the other.

One of the amazing testimonies was that of a woman who said she attended a programme during which our father in the Lord, Daddy Enoch  Adejare Adeboye announced that he wanted the Lord to bless  his people  with 83,000 babies.

That should be March last year when he turned 83 .

This woman  jokingly said, it is the three above the 80 that she would like to have.   She must have said this knowing that the blessing that our Daddy G.O. requested isn’t for her alone.

The most important  point in her testimony that many of us  missed, is that what she had was a conversation with the LORD which she counted as a joke.

Unknown to her, anyone that has a strong relationship with the LORD cannot utter words jokingly because her thoughts and words are anointed and God  would honour  such words.

While giving her testimony, she had with her a set of triplets.

Beloved, be determined to move from tears to laughter .

Someone in a conversation with the Lord, may appear abnormal to others because, the person is not praying like Hannah on the altar of God  but  a person that has a conversation with God is a person has total trust in God and has become a friend of Jesus.

Are you his friend already?  If not,   begin to take steps to  improve your relationship with Christ. It isn’t too late.

Brethren, be prepared for the September Holy Ghost night.  It is a programme for people trusting God for children and other things.

Be there, it is your turn to laugh. It is well.
