GAMBIA CLIMBS 7 PLACES IN LATEST FIFA RANKING

The Standard Gambia 10 minutes 1 mins read

The Gambia has moved up seven places in the latest Fifa World Ranking, rising from 116th to 109th globally.

The Scorpions also improved their position in Africa, climbing from 31st to 25th following successive victories over Somalia and Ghana during the September international window.

The improved ranking comes after The Gambia secured important results in its latest fixtures, boosting the team’s position both globally and on the continent.
