Germany: I’ve been diagnosed with neurological dysfunction – Musiala reveals after collapsing

Bayern Munich star, Jamal Musiala has released a statement via social media regarding his health status.

This follows his apparent episodes of syncope during consecutive matches.

The Germany international had to leave the friendly match against Heidenheim, which ended in a 4-2 victory for his team.

Musiala clarified that he has been diagnosed with a neurological condition that causes brief and temporary episode of absence.

He assured fans that he has no concerns about his health, as he is receiving top-notch medical care and faces no additional health risks despite his condition.

He disclosed that his decision to continue playing despite the diagnosis was a personal one and that he feels positive about it. 

Bayern Munich played an entertaining match against Heidenheim, with goals from Felipe Chavez, Arijon Ibrahimovic, Luis Diaz and Nathaniel Brown contributing to their 4-2 victory.
