GES releases outstanding 2023 Capitation Grant arrears to basic schools

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released outstanding 2023 Capitation Grant arrears to District Education Directorates for onward payment to public basic schools across the country. In a letter dated September 14, 2026, and addressed to all Regional Directors, the Service confirmed that the funds had been transferred into the accounts of the various District Education Directorates.
