Ghana Maritime Authority reaffirms commitment to safer inland waters

The Ghana Maritime Authority (GMA) has confirmed its commitment to working with communities and stakeholders to protect lives and livelihoods on Ghana rsquo;s inland waters. As part of its ldquo;Life Jackets for Safety and Livelihoods rdquo; campaign, the Authority has intensified sensitisation efforts across the Volta Lake, urging boat operators and passengers to prioritise safety.
