GNAT Teacher Unions reject requests for more time over arrears

The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) have warned that they will reject any request by the government for more time to resolve outstanding issues that led to their nationwide strike. The unions said they expected payment of the arrears owed them paid without further delay and asked that the prompt payment of the arrears be the focus of the scheduled meeting with Mr Haruna Iddrisu, the Minister of Education.
