Gov Adeleke’s victory: Osun election won at high price – Pat Utomi

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Political Economist and former presidential candidate, Pat Utomi, has disclosed that Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State won the governorship election at a high price.

Utomi claimed that about 30 people were killed due to the just-concluded governorship election in Osun State.

Posting on X, the former presidential candidate wrote: “Osun was won at a high price. Nearly 30 lives were lost to keep evil from having its way. May the souls lost in Osun rest in God’s peace and those responsible for such macabre murders come to judgement.

“The price of Liberty is eternal vigilance. Aluta continua through January. The mindset of politics and politicians in Nigeria continues to disturb.

“Thirty lives, a few maimed and many mentally crushed, and people are talking of agreements and accords for the next elections.

“How sad human lives come to nothing in some people’s calculation for power. Judgement day will be something else.”
