Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has reshuffled the portfolios of some commissioners, assigning them to different ministries.
The changes affect several commissioners, including Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, the commissioner for information who has been moved to the Ministry of Youth, while Safyanu Kachako has been redeployed to the Ministry of Environment.
Yushau Soja will head the Ministry of Security, while Idris Garba Mustapha has been assigned to the Ministry of Special Duties.
Similarly, Muntari Ishaq Yakasai will oversee the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, while Ibrahim Namadi Dala has been moved to the Ministry of Commerce.
Ibrahim Tsanyawa has also been assigned to the Ministry of Science and Technology.
