Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has urged youths in the state to sustain grassroots mobilisation under the Arewa for Asiwaju, A4A, movement in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The call followed the inauguration of 528 Tinubu ambassadors on Wednesday at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano, as part of efforts to strengthen the movement’s grassroots structures and expand its door-to-door campaign across the state.
The ambassadors are expected to engage residents in their communities, mobilise youths and women, and raise awareness about the movement’s objectives ahead of the forthcoming elections.
Governor Yusuf urged them to remain committed to their responsibilities, maintain regular contact with the grassroots, and promote peaceful political participation. He also stressed the importance of protecting voters’ choices through lawful means during the electoral process.
The Governor reaffirmed his assurance of support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid, urging the ambassadors to sustain their mobilisation efforts and strengthen engagement with communities across Kano State.
