Government reaffirms commitment to sustainable oceans on World Oceans Day

The Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting marine resources and promoting sustainable fisheries governance as Ghana marks World Oceans Day 2026. In a statement issued on Monday, the Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Mrs Emelia Arthur, said oceans play an essential role in sustaining life, supporting livelihoods, and driving economic growth.
