Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, has inaugurated Isaac Ali Kigbu, a former All Progressives Congress, APC, aspirant for the Lafia/Obi Federal Constituency seat, as a member of the Governing Council of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, NSUK.

Kigbu was inaugurated alongside five newly appointed Special Advisers during a ceremony held at the Government House in Lafia on Thursday.

Speaking after the inauguration, Kigbu expressed appreciation to the governor for the appointment, describing it as both a privilege and an opportunity to contribute to the development of the state’s education sector.

“Education remains a fundamental pillar for sustainable development and the empowerment of future generations. This appointment is a call to greater responsibility,” he said.

He pledged to work closely with other members of the Governing Council and the university’s management to strengthen the institution and advance its academic objectives.

Kigbu also expressed commitment to supporting initiatives that would enhance the university’s institutional capacity and promote academic excellence for the benefit of Nasarawa State and Nigeria.
