Govt launches GH¢598m project to connect 206 Volta Region communities to electricity

The government has launched a GH cent;598 million electrification project aimed at extending electricity to 206 communities across the 18 districts of the Volta Region. The project, being implemented by local company Byes and Ways under the Rural Electrification Accelerated and Urban Intensification Initiative, is expected to be completed within six months.
