GWL resumes production at Barekese Water Treatment Plant after completion of repairs

Ghana Water Limited (GWL) has announced the completion of repair works on the transmission pipeline at the Barekese Water Treatment Plant in the Ashanti Region. The development comes a day ahead of the scheduled completion date of the maintenance exercise, which had necessitated a temporary shutdown of the facility and disrupted water supply to parts of Kumasi and adjoining communities.
