Brethren, welcome to the last Sunday in the month   of June.  In a couple of days, by the grace of God, we’ll be saying goodbye to the month of June.

Significantly, it would be the end of the first half of year 2026.

Beloved, we have reasons to thank the Almighty God that we are on ground and not in the ground.   Glory and adoration be to the King of kings.

For every one of us that God has kept alive and still keeps alive, the Lord   continues to keep us alive   for a purpose.

In this last June edition, we’ll return to the visit of the Lord and its consequences.

First, we need to know that God can present Himself in human form, He can speak through the Word in the Holy Bible, He could speak through a word of knowledge or a word of Wisdom pronounced by your Pastor during a church service.

God can also speak to us in a dream or speak through the still small voice of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth.

May the Lord open our ears to hear from him even before this month ends in Jesus name.

Let’s look at a couple,  Manoah and his wife .  It is found in Judges 13 vs. 2-5

( NLT): “ In those days  a man named Manoah from the tribe of Dan lived in the town of Zorah.   His wife was unable  to become pregnant, and they had no children. The angel  of the Lord appeared to Manoah’s wife and said, “Even  though  you have been unable to have children, you will soon  become pregnant and give birth to a son.

So, be careful; you must not drink wine or any alcoholic drink nor eat any forbidden food.   You will become pregnant  and give birth to a son, and his hair must never be cut. For he will be dedicated to God  as a Nazirite from birth. He will begin to rescue   Israel from the Philistines”.

Manoah’s wife narrated the visit to her husband who prayed that God should send the angel again.

The Lord answered his prayer according to verses 8&9 (KJV) of the same chapter.

“’Then Manoah intreated the LORD, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born.

And God hearkened to the voice of Manoah; and the angel of God came again  unto the woman as she sat in the field but Manoah her husband was not with her”.

Bible records state that she went to call her husband and the angel of God repeated the same instructions that he gave to his wife.”.

Verse 24 completes the story. “ And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him”.

Beloved, we have a few lessons to learn here. First is that we were not told why Manoah’s wife was barren but she was barren.  Unlike Rachael,   we were not told why she was barren but God knew and decided to break the yoke.

Two, she didn’t doubt the angel or ask questions.    She believed the angel.

Three, the angel came with specific instructions as to what she must not eat or drink.

The forth was that the angel used the word “ soon”.  He said, “ you will soon become pregnant and give birth to a son”.   That tells us that once the angel spoke, her conception became a work in progress.

The fifth lesson is that the message of the angel was that of deliverance from a long time yoke that had given the couple a negative description in the society.

However, the husband, asked the Lord to visit again.   This is rare even today but the merciful God obliged him.

Brethren, have you been called barren like Manoah’s wife, my prayer for you is that   you will experience the visitation of the Lord  soon in Jesus name.

Further reading of the story showed  that the couple  tried to entertain the angel that brought the good news but he declined and instead asked them to  give an offering to the Lord and they did.

We need to take something from their action and that is when the Word of God is revealed  or the LORD visits, we should learn to give thanks even before the physical manifestation the promise of God.

Brothers and Sisters, the question is,   would you believe the word when it is revealed? Are you ready to comply with the conditions that may be attached to it?

Two factors come to play here, Faith and Obedience.    Both brought about the manifestation of the word in the life of the couple.   You too need to believe the word and be ready for complete obedience.

It must be stated however that it is not in all cases that the Lord gives conditions.

God could just show mercy but on your path, you must be ready to let go of anything that could  negatively impact the promise of God.

First, let’s ask, who needs the visitation of God?

It is a person that is unable to help himself, or a person  that cries for the help of God when it all seems hopeless.

Brethren,   to attract the visitation of the LORD, you need to be fully connected with God and God only.     Even if you choose to  opt  for  medical assistance, you must back it up with prayers, fasting and thanksgiving.

Another example of visitation is found in  the  story of the wise men that visited Mary and Joseph  when Christ was born.

Matthew 2 vs. 12-14 ( NIV) : “ And having been warned  in a dream  not to go back to Herod, they  returned  to their country by another route.

When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get  up,” he said , “ take the  child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there  until I tell you, for Herod  is going to search for the child to kill him”.

So, he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt.”.

Here God appeared in  a dream but the common  factor here is obedience.   Joseph acted immediately.

The visitation of the LORD is able to save you from danger.  It could save you from traps set by the enemy.

I will share a testimony.   A  woman  had an altercation with her sister in law.   The sister in law felt so offended that she told her own relations and others.  Then they planned that since the woman would attend the burial party of the father in law of her sister in law, they would do something.

Two nights before the party, the Holy Spirit spoke to the woman in a dream, “ must you  be at that party?”

With this kind of message, one needs understanding to know that the Holy Spirit meant that she shouldn’t attend the party.

Thank God the woman understood the message.

Brethren, when  the word comes for you, may the Holy Spirit give you the knowledge to apply.

The woman didn’t attend the party but those that went there said, many people especially the relations of the sister- in law that felt offended were looking for her.

Consequently, the evil plans of her enemies failed.

May the Lord give you his spirit of understanding as He visits  you this season in Jesus name.

Finally, you can invite the LORD into your life when you surrender to him and pray for his intervention.

Beloved, the tears of sorrow would soon be replaced by the tears of Joy in Jesus name.

Stay connected to Jesus .
