Popular TikToker Peller left guests in stitches during his court wedding after he hilariously questioned why prison was being mentioned during what he described as a “love matter.”
The comic moment occurred after the marriage registrar informed Peller and his bride that violating their marriage vows by committing bigamy is a criminal offence punishable by a minimum of five years imprisonment without the option of a fine.
The registrar said, “In a competent court of jurisdiction, if any of you go against the rules, he or she is guilty of an offense called bigamy. And it’s a punishable offense of minimum of 5 years imprisonment with no option of fine. Any bed? Should I proceed, or you want to go and rethink?”
A visibly shocked Peller immediately interrupted, saying, “Wait, wait… I get question. For marriage?” After the registrar repeated, “5 years imprisonment,” the content creator jokingly replied, “For marriage? We will not break it, but ah, I don’t know how prison enter this love… We are good.”
The ceremony then continued as the registrar led him through his vows, asking him to repeat, “Forsaking all other women. Clinging to you only. Till death do us part.”
